A young company built on a long resume
Resolve General Construction is a general contractor working across the Seattle metro area. We build multifamily housing — apartments, townhomes, mixed-use — and the buildings communities gather in: schools and houses of worship. And we get involved early enough to change how they turn out.
The name
Why "Resolve"
Resolve means two things, and we mean both. It is firmness of purpose — the determination to see a hard thing through. And it is what happens to problems: they get resolved. Every building project generates problems; the difference between contractors is whether those problems get solved early, quietly and on purpose — or late, loudly and on your dime.
We put the word on the door because it is the promise: bring us the project, and bring us the problems. Both get resolved.
Proactive by design
Most of what goes wrong on a construction project is decided before anyone breaks ground: in the details that never got resolved, the budget that was never really tested, the schedule nobody pressure-checked. Being proactive means doing that work up front, when it is still cheap to fix.

Experience behind the company
Before founding Resolve, Ryan Stoller managed 12 large multifamily buildings in Seattle and West Seattle — 1,382 units of apartments and mixed-use construction, delivered at previous firms.
His resume also spans ten years on the owner's side of the table: thirteen Seattle developments — more than 1,300 units and roughly $340 million in construction budgets — carried from predevelopment and entitlement through construction administration, including a Passive House project and a historic renovation. He knows how developers plan, budget and decide, because that was his job.
