New Construction
Planning and constructing new buildings is our main focus.
It encompasses all aspects of construction, from special projects to building envelope. We focus on the design and how we can make it better through our preconstruction process.
We love the challenge, and will work on anything from a DADU to an apartment building.
Special Projects
Special projects, tenant improvements and remodels are often just as complex as larger projects, but in fundamentally different ways.
Many are located within occupied buildings, requiring a deft touch from field crews to complete work without disrupting neighboring areas. The most significant difference is the rapid pace of the work: while major projects usually require months of careful planning and years to execute, the life cycle of a tenant improvement project is often much shorter.
To excel at these projects, contractors need to be adaptive, creative and responsive. We apply everything we have learned in the construction industry to these projects, and look forward to working on any project regardless of size.
Building Envelope
The building envelope is a critical part of every construction project — it plays a major role in the function, aesthetics and performance of the building.
Whether it is new construction or envelope repair, our extensive envelope experience and familiarity with current detailing let us manage any project, large or small. That covers all aspects of building envelope construction: initial design and engineering, insulation, air and vapor barriers, wall systems, rain screen systems, roofing systems, and more.
In the Great Northwest, water is the enemy. We work hard to make sure it never becomes an issue — using current technologies and techniques so the envelope is installed correctly and stands the test of time.
Sustainability
Our goal is to provide comfortable, sustainable, energy-efficient buildings that benefit the environment.
Our principles are based on Passive House design: high-performance windows and doors, insulation, energy-efficient heat pumps, heat recovery systems, and airtight construction.
We work with our clients to determine the best products for their needs and to create a project that meets their energy efficiency and sustainability goals. Resolve is committed to helping create a more sustainable future, and we are dedicated to promoting any program that furthers those goals.
