Brandon Johns

Brandon has spent nearly two decades in public-sector finance with the City of Seattle. As Citywide Accounting Manager since 2013, he has managed production of the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report; before that he served as a fiscal and policy analyst in the City Budget Office and as a principal accountant in Central Accounting, doing governmental accounting and financial reporting.

He began his career as an Assistant State Auditor with the Washington State Auditor’s Office, performing compliance, single, and financial audit reporting. A Certified Information Systems Auditor, he brings audit-grade rigor to the books — controls, reporting, and accountability at a standard most contractors never see.
